The Children’s Leukaemia Association supports and assists families in any way during and after the course of on-going treatment.
Supports include Fidelma’s House, financial and equipment assistance, funding for counselling for the child and family members, family events and outings and parent support evenings.
Fidelma’s House is a home-from-home accommodation, close to the Mercy University Hospital, which the Children’s Leukaemia Association can offer to families, particularly those who have to travel long distances, while their child is being cared for in the Children’s Leukaemia Unit
