Purple House provides free cancer supports and activities for children, teens and adults affected by cancer and for their families.
INFORMATION
Purple House supports are available on-line and in person.
They provide a wide range of supports for children and young people, parents, siblings and other family members.
Supports for children and teenagers include:
- Support services for children and teenagers who are dealing with cancer or who have a family member or friend affected by Cancer.
- Children’s and Teenager’s Counselling Service
- Art & Play Therapies for children – one to one sessions with our child & adolescence counsellor.
- Yoga Classes
- Creative Art & Wellbeing Classes
- Bereavement Support Service for Children and teenagers
- Teenagers Support Group
Supports for parents/carers include:
- Parent support groups
- Telephone counselling & psychotherapy Service
- Telephone support service
- Government entitlements and benefits weekly clinic
- Practical supports
