Make-A-Wish Ireland aims to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness
Make-A-Wish Ireland wishes give seriously ill children the chance to do something extraordinary. For many children, a wish is an opportunity to do something they never thought possible when life is tough. Children’s wishes can range from being a princess for the day or meeting their hero, to going on a once-in-a-lifetime family holiday. Whatever each child’s wish is, they make the experience a truly individual and memorable one and try to include the whole family where possible.
Aged between 3 and 17 years (inclusive)
Criteria: To have their wish granted, a child needs to be:
Living with a life-threatening illness

How to apply/who can apply: They accept wish referrals from parents or guardians, medical professionals or even the children themselves.
The applications are completed by the parent/guardian of the child.
