“Empowering Yourself: Tips on Using Your Voice to Advocate for Your Child in a Healthcare Setting”, led by Dr Austin O’Carroll.
“Dr Austin O Carroll has been an inner-city GP since 1997. The focus of his career has been improving access for communities affected by marginalisation or deprivation to quality primary healthcare. He founded several initiatives including Safetynet, GMQ, Partnership for Health Equality, GP Care for All amongst others. He was Dublin HSE Covid Lead for the Homeless Population between 2020 and 2022. He has received multiple national and international awards for his work, and participated in 2016 Paralympics in sailing.”

Dr Lhara Mullins is a lecturer in health promotion and programme director of the BA (Hons) Social Care at the University of Galway, as well as an active advocate locally and nationally for all things autism and neurodiversity related.
