Diabetes Ireland provides support, education and advocacy to people living with diabetes in Ireland, and their families.

They are the only national charity advocating for and supporting those living with Diabetes in Ireland.

They encourage families and children to become members of Diabetes Ireland they can then avail of the Sweetpea Children’s Club which hosts events such as Christmas Parties and Teddy bears picnics. They also host activities for older children such as the teen activity day.

The Diabetes Ireland website provides information about Living with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, personal stories abut living with diabetes and diabetes in children. A range of supports and services are provided through their regional offices.
